Linnie Blooms and Stampendous wanted to try out each other products and the design teams were given products to play with and I used the Stampendous repositionable cling rubber stamps, The leaves. Since Summer is fast approaching I didn’t want to make fall leaves and Stampendous has this AWESOME encrusted embossing power.
I used this super find turquoise embossing powder (the powder comes in a case of five(5), I will take a photo and post it later so you can see the Awesome powder. From Linnie Blooms I used the cute Canvas Bird they come three (3) to a pack for $1.99 check out the catalog for other fun items. (www.linnieblooms.com)
Paper cards are fun but what happens to them after the moment is over? I was trying to make a birthday card that would stay with the Birthday person forever, and allow them to admire it -in their office, home or on their desk, you get the idea-FORVER!!!- What do you think?
I found this excellent purchase over at IKEA. It is a package of three(3) pack of wooden frames for under $5.00 They are perfect for Arts and Craft products. A plastic insert is the cover (I didn’t use it for this project).
I took the frame and painted it a graphite color before letting it dry, I added turquoise paint with a circle punch negative. I applied a texture coating in between the circles. The canvas bird is painted with a navy distress ink and the same turquoise paint. I added a few sequins for a pop of bling, and a sentiment from a stampin up stamp set.
The giant stamps from stampendous, I thought were really going to be hard to use and they were really a breeze. I was able to used the stamps on the giant handle from stampendous as well. I give Stampendous an “A” and encourage everyone to check out their latest catalog. I will be posting more items on my blog using more of their products.
