For those who know me really well, know never to call on Game Day during Football season. The most important season of the year (in my house). I recently discovered this wonderful paper line from Doodlebug. It’s a sportline and it’s dedicated to FOOTBALL!!!! Thank You Doodlebug.(They have other sports but ugh! is there anything more than Football (smile)).Today, I am sharing my game day album with the help from Doodlebug. I started with two (2) sheets of 12 x 12 plain cardstock I used a Green and Brown I had leftover scraps of a Yellow that was perfect and did the trick. If you want to keep the album uniformed watch that your cardstock matches if you use scraps- I almost had two (2) different yellows-opps!
I cut the green cardstock in half (the remainder will be used on other pages).I am using the green cardstock horizontal, to start decorating the album. I used the brown cardstock I cut it 11 x 11 it was scored and cut, I took an extra sheet of brown and cut it to measure 5 1/2 x 11 (fold it in half)
On the separate piece the fold should go up and down and on the 5 1/2 X11 the fold will go sideways.
So you’ll want to make pages the 5 1/2 X 11 cardstock will be folded into 4 squares and you will cut down the middle of the of the 2 squares on the left side so they will fold over and make additional pages CUT ONLY TO THE MIDDLE SCORE LINE. Start decorating. when finished you should have eleven (11) pages. I didn’t cover the back of the book (my choice).
The book is simple to make and can be change to match any occasion you’re doing. The decoration choices are simple think of your photos and how to highlight. This makes a great gift, for the players,Team Mom’s and the football cheerleaders.(change it up a little don’t really want to say born to play!!) **I didn’t check on to see if their was cheerleader paper but you can go to the Doodlebug site.
